Favorite Movie Scenes: Easy A (2010): Bedroom Shenanigans

When Olive (Emma Stone) agrees to help out her gay friend Brandon (Dan Byrd) in tricking fellow students into thinking he's as straight as can be, the two head for a booming teen party and into an empty bedroom where things get "hot 'n heavy". Instead of actually doing the deed, the two broadly simulate the pleasurable experience in this hilarious scene as both just go with instinct and turn out comic gold. From the moans and grunts to the off the mark phrases, both Stone and Byrd keep it genuine and funny, without going raunchy.

I LOVED this movie and this scene! And Emma Stone was great! A nomination would have been worthy..
I saw The Fighter, and I thought it was okay, but a lot of it seemed phony, but there was also szome really rea parts too, but it was mostly fake. I thought Leo was good, but something really was missing from her, there was never any of the special spark to her performance, and that's the script's fault for not fully explaining her character at all.
But I thought Amy was fantastic and she's my pick now, though I haven;'t seen Jackie Weaver yet. And I really liked Bale too. And Walberg was very good as well.
Stone is amazing in this and anything else she's in, and here she's very nom worthy (as you saw by my ballot. The movie isn't perfect (its second half shows seams), but its charming and delightful.
It seems that people are having some mixed responses to The Fighter, with some raving and other merely liking it. I'm doing my review now, but my reaction was completely the opposite (as you may have guessed) and in some ways its becoming more underrated.
Ha! So many good moments in this movie. It was deeply flawed and wasn't ideally written, but every scene involving Emma Stone was a comedic treasure! What a showcase!
